A modern second-story addition designed to complement the distinctive architecture of the original home. Built above an existing flat-roof section, the addition uses clean horizontal lines, oversized windows and existing brick elements to create new living space that feels intentional to the original design rather than simply added on. The project required substantial structural, insulation and mechanical work while maintaining the home's unusual mid-century character.
